The Li Mingrui and Wei Baqun Martyrs Memorial Hall is located on the south bank of Nanhu Park in Nanning, which is full of rippling blue water and picturesque scenery. The memorial hall displays the life stories of the martyrs Li Mingrui and Wei Baqun, and displays 234 cultural relics, pictures and historical materials, which truly and vividly reproduce the glorious revolutionary course of the outstanding generals of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, the commander-in-chief of the Red 7th Army and the Red 8th Army, Li Mingrui, and the outstanding son of the Zhuang people and the outstanding leader of the peasant movement, Wei Baqun, who fought bravely more than 80 years ago.
On March 10, 2018, leaders, party members and party activists of Qionglin School in Liangqing District, Nanning City visited the Li Mingrui and Wei Baqun Martyrs Memorial Hall with reverence. In 1929, Deng Xiaoping led the Baise Uprising. In the center of the square of the memorial hall is a majestic, 14-meter-high statue of the revolutionary martyrs of the Baise Uprising. In the middle of the statue stands a red flag fluttering in the wind, symbolizing the revolutionary spirit of the people of all ethnic groups in Guangxi during the Great Revolution under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and showing the spirit of Li Mingrui, Wei Baqun, the Red Army soldiers and the Red Guards to forge ahead. The front of the statue base is engraved with a line of powerful characters, "In memory of Comrade Li Mingrui, Wei Baqun and other comrades, the revolutionary martyrs of the Baise Uprising, will live forever!" It is a handwritten inscription by Comrade Deng Xiaoping on December 11, 1981.
